Cherokee County Educational Foundation Raises Over $90,000 at the 4th Annual Sporting Clays Classic

The Cherokee County Educational Foundation (CCEF) proudly hosted its 4th Annual Sporting Clays Classic on Friday, June 19, 2026, at Garland Mountain Sporting Clays & Grill in Waleska, Georgia. The event brought together the community and shooting enthusiasts, again this year, for a day of friendly competition and fundraising in support of Cherokee County School District students and teachers.

Presented by Batson-Cook Construction and Northside Hospital Cherokee, this year's event featured a sporting clays course, breakfast and lunch, gift bags, and plenty of opportunities for networking and camaraderie. Participants enjoyed a beautiful day on the course while supporting educational opportunities that make a lasting impact throughout Cherokee County. 

Thanks to the generosity of sponsors, teams, and individual participants, this year's event raised more than $90,000 to support classroom grants, scholarships, educator recognition programs, and innovative learning opportunities across the District.
