With the 2026-2027 school year just beginning, it is time to prepare for the annual Chick-fil-A Cherokee County 5K! Mark your calendars for Saturday, August 22nd, 2026, and come see us at Etowah River Park at 8:00 AM for a morning of running fun, gathering with the community, and supporting a great cause.
Formerly known as the Moo've It 5K, this event has raised over $400,000 for the Cherokee County Educational Foundation (CCEF) and Cherokee County Special Olympics. With your participation at the 5K this year you will help contribute to funding programs, such as our Rapid Grants and Impact Grants!

Nugget Roll (ages 2-5)
There are so many fun events on the Race Day that you don't want to miss! This event is great for all ages. The "nugget roll" is a 30 yard dash designated for little ones ages 2-5 years old to get a chance to participate in a fun-run, although they are more than welcome to walk or run the 5k with you as well!
Be sure to come dressed up in your cow spots and participate in the best dressed cow contest and stick around for the mascot run as well. We will have Chick-fil-A Chicken Biscuits, music, and so much more!
So lace up your sneakers, put on your best cow costume, and join us at the Chick-fil-A Cherokee County 5k! We can't wait to see you there!
