Who doesn't love the chance to get dressed up and have a fun night out on the town while benefiting a great cause? The Cherokee County Educational Foundation will be hosting their Annual Celebration of Education Gala on Saturday night, March 7th presented by Northside Hospital Cherokee Bluffs Conference Center.
This black-tie optional dinner is hosted by our Honorary Chair, Dr. Brian V Hightower and will be catered by Carrabba's. There will be a cocktail reception and silent auction at 6:30 p.m. followed by dinner, entertainment, and the presentation of our annual Educator Hall of Fame, as well as Alumnus and Alumna of the Year awards. The Alumni awards are presented to a graduate of the Cherokee County School District who has benefited our community from their service, presence, or distinguished career. Our Educator Hall of Fame is a very special award to recognize teachers that have made a huge impact on the lives of their students and our community through their career in education.
This promises to be a fun-filled night and a chance to give back to our excellent, award winning school district. The proceeds from the evening will all benefit our teachers and students directly through Classroom Impact Grants. Grants of up to $2,500 per classroom are available to enhance teaching and learning innovation for all faculty and staff in our Cherokee County public schools.
You can visit our website to learn more about our grants, and explore opportunities to be a sponsor or donor for our Gala. We welcome donations to our silent and live auctions. Individual Tickets are available for $150.00 per person, or you can purchase a table of 8 for $1,000.00.
